How and when do I pay for my tyre?
When you have completed your order form you will then go to our checkout page where you will be able to pay for your tyres. We take all major credit cards.
Is my transaction secure
Your transaction is 100% secure. We only use the latest technology in card processing and your details will not be passed onto any other party.
Technical Questions
Where do I find the size of my tyre?
You find your tyre size on the side wall of your tyres. Please note some vehicles have different sizes front and rear, so only check the size of the tyre/s you are changing. You can then use our website's easy tyre finder tool to make your purchase easy.
What does "RF" mean?
"RF" tells you that your tyres are reinforced. These tyres are mainly fitted to small/light vans, estates and people carriers.
What does "C" mean?
"C" tells you that these tyres are for light commercial vehicles, minibuses etc.
What does "R" mean?
"R" tells you that this is a Radial. All modern tyres are now radial.
Where will I find my speed rating?
The speed rating is usually found on the side wall of the tyre:
- "T" for speeds up to 118mph
- "H" for speeds up to 130mph
- "V" for speeds up to 150mph
- "W" & "Y" for speeds faster than 150mph but no faster than 169mph and 186mph respectively. "W" & "Y" can appear with the "ZR" rating
- "ZR" without the "W" & "Y" marking indicates 150mph

No the price on the screen is the price you pay. No hidden costs, guaranteed.
Fitting
How do you fit in a van?
Our vans are fully equipped with the latest tyre fitting technology, fully fitted mobile tyre depots.
Do I have to keep my old tyre?
No we can take your old tyres away at no cost to you. This ensures that the tyres are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
Can you balance my wheels on site too?
Yes our vans are fitted with the latest wheel balancing machines.
Do you do puncture repairs on location?
Yes we can carry out puncture repairs on location the same as taking your punctured tyre to a tyre depot.
Do you do emergency call outs?
Not at the moment, but Car Tyre Company will be offering this service in the near future.
Can you deal with fleet management?
Yes we can deal with all fleet requirements, from 1 tyre to 100. Call our service manager for details.

Do you offer a late night fitting service?
Yes on thursday we offer a late night fitting service. See opening hours.
Do you offer any deal to clubs, business or emergency services?
Yes we offer a number of discount schemes to organisations such as Police, NHS and Fire Services. Call our customer service manager to discuss.
